Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Ruth Sigler and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I graduated from San Diego State University in 1991 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Children, Youth and Families.
My work at Children’s Hospital focused on working with children and their families who have experienced trauma, including sexual and physical abuse and witnessing domestic violence.
I also have worked with teens and teachers that were impacted by the school shootings in East County. In addition to working for Children’s Hospital, I have also provided mental health services in 4 local school districts and at St. Vincent de Paul, in a shelter for teens who where homeless.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my three furry girls. I relax by hanging out in my backyard painting and planting succulents.
